This morning we started our day with excitement for the two projects that we are going to finish today. We added strips and color to the tigers for it to come to life. We learned several artistic techniques for applying paint on the tigers. Even though there were minor difficulties our instructor Mr. Wong guided us in the right direction. With our teamwork and dedication, the tigers are complete after this morning. Later on this afternoon, we will be planting mangroves at TIS.

In the afternoon, we met on the roof of the North Wing to begin planting mangroves. Splitting into groups of four, we filled plastic containers with soil, planted the saplings we gathered on Tuesday, and watered them. Over the coming weeks, the mangroves will continue to grow and hopefully thrive in their new environment. We then finished off Experience Week by creating videos discussing the importance of mangroves and how to spread awareness of them. After spending the week learning about the benefits of planting mangroves, this was a good way to put that knowledge into use.
