Today was A very exciting day. We started the day off by driving up into the dense forests of northern Thailand. We got off at the FORRU facility to learn about the reforestation. We were given the tasks of planting many different types of seeds. After that we potted young saplings to give them more space to grow. We then took a van back to the dorms, where we spent time resting for our next activity. Our next activity was archery. After a quick walk over to the archery range, we were given a brief safety demonstration to make sure that we practiced in a completely safe and careful manner. This activity was a great way to show and practice our dexterity. It was a very fun activity, and we all learned a very important lesson. Mr Masters is not very good at archery. We then were given a very challenging team building activity that had us all puzzled. However we were able to persevere through all of the difficulties. We then finished the very tiring day with the khantoke dinner. In the dinner we were given a variety of Thai dishes, such as sticky rice and curry. After the very fulfilling dinner, we were given the honour of being performed to by traditional Thai dancers and a two fire sword dancers. It was a truly amazing event to summarize the day.
