We woke up with memories of last night’s amazing feast that the students prepared still on our minds (couscous, corn, and chef Harley’s famous pork chop buns). After a leisurely breakfast, tents were packed and we started the journey to Sai Kung. We had free choice for lunch and filled our bellies for the journey to Ham Tin beach. Along the way we learned about mangroves, abandoned villages, life in remote areas, and how to carry gear plus a tent for a long trek. Supper was by the beach and then the rain came pouring down. We’re all sweet, but we’re not made of sugar so we won’t melt! It’ll be a different night to experience!
