This is my first year working as a student teacher and all the kids are very welcoming towards me. The kids are very energetic and playful during recess, which gave me a hard time keeping up with them. This is the first year for me to work as a homeroom helper, and I do learn a lot from the kids and the teacher. For example, the teacher teaches me how to deal with issues like arguments, whereas the kids remind me how to have fun as life in high school is very different from the elementary school. I enjoy the whole process while working with the kids though sometimes it is tiring! I eagerly await to work with them for the rest of the week. – Grace Cheng, with Grade 2-2

Staying in Macao for experience week this year, I made a good choice choosing to be homeroom helper. Although I didn’t have a good impression of kids before, the grade 2s in my class are really contrary to what I thought.
