Today was the last day on the slopes. Unfortunately we didn’t get to finish with great conditions. Visibility at the top of the mountain was absolutely abysmal, with some people noting that it was impossible to see more than 15 meters in front of them. In addition to that, the skies starting opening up shortly after we started in the morning, further making for an uncomfortable final few runs.
Some however, had such a great time over the last few days that they simply had to go for one or two final runs even with the treacherous conditions. Barrelling down essentially solid sheets of ice, out students left satisfied with their experience and hungry to be able to hit the slopes again next season.
We spent the afternoon driving back into the heart of Seoul and settling into our new accommodations within the city. The students were brought to nearby Myungdong shopping district to find their own dinner and then explore the area and do some shopping before retiring for the evening.
We have one last day in Korea tomorrow where we’ll explore more of Korea’s culture and exercise our creativity with some practice in producing traditional Korean food and participating in a Hanbok ceremony before flying it and returning to Macau by the early evening.
