Hope everyone is getting prepared for the Indonesia Experience Week trip. We leave in only 3 days! Just a reminder for the day of:

Departure

Meeting: 12:30pm @ Cotai Ferry Terminal (in front of the ticketing offices)

Travel Information

We will be taking the following transportation to Bau Bau:

Cotai to HKIA – Cotai Waterjet ferry @ 1:55pm Saturday March 10th

HKG to CGK – Flight #GA863 @ 5:10pm – 9:10pm Saturday March 10th

CGK to UPG – Flight #GA654 @ 1:20am – 4:55am Sunday March 11th

UPG to BUW – Flight #GA7828 @ 6:10am – 7:15am Sunday March 11th

We will then be taking a ferry to Bau Bau.

Packing List

Don’t forget to bring everything you will need over the course of the trip. Here are a list of some of the important items not to forget:

• Travel documents (Passport, Macau ID)
• 3 photocopies of your passport and a passport sized photo (for OpWall)
• Money (Indonesian Rupiahs) – 500MOP worth is recommended
• TIS top for travel days
• Dive log and certification card for certified divers
• Sunscreen
• Bathing suit(s)
• Underwater camera (if you have one)
• Flip flops
• Respectable clothing for land based activities
• Dry bag for boat rides
• Open Water Students: bring a device in order to access your online OW manual
• Bring contacts if you wear glasses

*Students are responsible for their belongings at all times.

Important Notes:

1. Luggage allowance is 15 kg – please make sure your luggage will not be overweight.
2. Please exchange your money to Indonesian Rupiah ahead of time – we will be arriving in Indonesia very early in the morning and exchange booths may not be open.
3. Please check that you have updated travel documents
4. We are scheduled to return to Macau on the 10:15am ferry from HKIA on March 17th. The travel blog will be updated in case of any changes or flight delays.
