Grade 7 - Vietnam 2018

My Son Temple and Hoi An’s old town

  Hoi An, Vietnam

Posted March 12, 2018 by Dany Janveaux

Today, bus one took a one hour drive to the My Son Temple. The My Son Temple is one of the places that you must see. The My Son Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was built around 1500 years ago. A long time ago, Champa people would come to the My Son Temple to worship My Son. Sadly, in 1832 Champa people became extinct. Students got to take photos of the Temple and some got to even go inside the Temples.

After seeing the My Son Temple we got back on the bus and went to the old city of Hoi An. We ate a delectable lunch and did a scavenger hunt where we could explore around the old city of Hoi An. When we were done with the scavenger hunt we all did two hours of shopping and later, walked about ten minutes to the restaurant where we ate a magnificent dinner. Afterwards, we went back to our hotel and went to sleep.
