As the saying goes, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the leaders of the CAS Middle School Alternative Experience Week as I express how proud I am of our wonderful students who contributed to the betterment of their community this week. The students were challenged to persevere through fears and anxieties of difference, novelty, and social injustice. They exercised communication skills, teamwork, patience, resilience, and compassion- emerging stronger than ever.

This post will be the conclusion of the blogs for this trip, but a video compilation will be released in the coming weeks highlighting the most memorable moments of the week.
