“We just finished day one with a bang, and by bang, we mean everyone is in bed voluntarily by 9PM! We flew into BauBau this morning and got started immediately. We saw the doctors, did some tests, settled into our rooms and had some safety lectures. After lunch we started with our courses. Coral reef ecology for some of us, scuba lessons for some, and snorkelling for another. There was even a swimming lesson thrown in there! We met with the students from HKIS and had a great time by the bonfire and BBQ at night. Beautiful Sunday and lots and lots of stars. Tomorrow breakfast will start at 6AM and sounds like we will have a much easier day! We don’t have much internet access and students are not allowed on it. So if you have not heard from your child, don’t worry, they’re with us still 🙂 ”
All our students that had conditions of concern in the online medical form, have been cleared to dive.
