Despite the cold wind blowing outside, we are safe and hunkered down at our first hotel in Newark. The group is enjoying a bit of time to recover from the long flight after a big buffet breakfast. We’ve heard some good news: the two storm systems that have merged to form the Nor’easter (the blizzard / winter storm) seem to be shifting so that the largest amount of precipitation (snow, sleet, rain) will be further to the north and east.
