Today was an early start with a wake up call at 4:30am. A few of us were a little sleepy and a few of us missed the alarm going off at 4:30am. But everyone made it to the boat for 5am. We got to watch a beautiful sunrise as we headed out to the dive site. It was an exciting morning as some of us were wondering what it was going to be like to see a shark underwater.
Some groups were lucky and they did see the Thrasher Shark. Other groups were unlucky and they missed the shark. There were a ton of divers in the water so it was a busy dive site.
We got back on the boat and headed out to our second dive site. This time were were hoping we might see a White Tip Reef Shark. Most groups just saw a lot of colourful corals and jelly fish.
We had a lunch break and sat in the sun to dry off. Then most of us suited back up and jumped back into the ocean for our third dive of the day. This is when some groups were lucky. They did spot a small White Tip Reef Shark. This made the dive very special.
