Hey y’all!

We have finished the first half of the first day! We went on a boat and fished like Vietnamese fishermen! Gloria dropped her phone in the water but one of the guides kindly dove in the water and helped get it back. After that, we went on basket boats in one of the canals where Vietnamese soldiers fought in the war. The guide told us the interesting story about how they survived living in the canals. They also preformed a basket boat show where they were tipping and spinning from side to side! Later on, we arrived at a secluded beach where we learned another strategy for fishing. All of us had a splash in the waters and were having so much fun! We enjoyed our first Vietnamese meal and it was phenomenal!! We also had a fun time at the hotel pool while we wait for our next activity (cooking class)! Check back later for another update!
