Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Time to Chill

  Indonesia

Hi this is Quint here. Today we enjoyed the nice relaxing day we deserve after intense diving sessions. I woke up at 7:44, but the wake up time ranges from 6 a.m to 11:30 (Sky and John). It’s definitely safe to say that we all “chilled out”- as Lauren would say. After 3-9 hours of relaxing we made our way to the mangrove forest. We went on kayaks and followed the guide deep into the forest where Bruna and Lauren encountered spiders then screamed so loud the spiders probably bursts into thousand bits. I thought that it was really entertaining seeing everyone crashing into each other because no one knows how to control the kayak. I think we are probably the loudest group the guide ever had. After kayaking, we went back to the hotel. I immediately jumped into the pool to cool off the mosquito bites on my back (yes mommy I put mosquito repellent) then we all tried holding our breaths, this was when I accomplished the outstanding feat where I held my breath for 2:35 minutes. For dinner I ate 8 quesadillas and some salad, I’m so full right now. Overall rating for today: 9.13/10 (mosquito bites).

Today, Emily and Bruna spent the day napping away, paving the way for some catching up in the sunburn race. Basically, we have about 10 contenders and it’s getting too difficult to discern who is leading. There are many winners now and we’ll just abandon the race for our own sanity!!! Check back for tomorrow’s blog after we all go fun diving!!!!!

Thanks Quint for the laugh ; I can imagine the girls screaming. And you see Somao I am not the only mum to worry about sunscreen or mosquito repellent.
Keep having fun guys and see you soon.
