Our final day of the experience week trip wrapped up with a final traditional Japanese meal for breakfast at the hot spring hotel. After expressing a heart-felt thank you to the small staff at the hotel, we hit the road for a long hour and a half bus ride to Rinku Outlet Mall, a short distance away from the Osaka Kansai Airport.
The students were given a few hours to shop and have lunch of their own choice amongst the myriad of shops and restaurants in the area. Many came back with lighter wallets and arm-full of shopping bags.
From there, we drove the short distance to the airport and went through the process of getting through the airport check-in and security procedures. Our flight left a bit ahead of schedule but due to the low visibility in Macau, landed a bit after the scheduled arrival time. Due to some wellness issues with a few students, the group scattered according to the timing of when students received their luggage. All students and staff are now safely back home. Many will tell you what an amazing trip they had and how they wished the trip could have continued.
Due to the wifi issues yesterday, not all the pictures from yesterday’s adventures have yet been posted. The rest will be posted here. Thank you all once again for following along with our grade nine Japan experience week adventures.
