March 15:
Today was another beautiful and cloudless day.
We took a one-hour bus ride in the morning, away from Seoul, to the biggest cultural village in Korea. In contrast with the busy city action most people associate Korea with, the cultural village give off a more peaceful vibe. We got to enjoy a traditional tightrope performance, and walk around exploring on our own, many bought interesting souvenirs and it was generally a nice activity for the morning.
In the afternoon, we went to the best amusement park, it was definitely one of the highlights of today and of our trip. It is full of fun rides and shops selling delicious snacks and cool souvenirs. The main event was definitely when many members of out trip went on the T-Express – a roller coaster which falls from the height of the Niagra falls.

Today after our delightful breakfast meal we left Seoul and went to Yongin, in Gyeonggi province. It was very chilly when we arrived at the Korean Folk Village. We watched an exciting tight rope act and had some time to explore the vast area. There were farm animals, traditional game area, market, beautiful scenery and souvenir stores. At noon, we left for Everland, the biggest amusement park in Korea. We were able to enjoy the rides and the zoo. We tried several types of delicious snacks such as chicken sticks, churros, pretzels, etc. After our meal, our whole group lined up to ride the T express, the steepest wooden roller coaster in Asia. It was one of the best rides of our lives! After our long day at the amusement park, we headed to an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu. We were able to get our hands on some tasty beef and pork rolls. The traffic made our trip back to Seoul longer than expected, and we got back late to the hotel, exhausted. It was a thrilling experience at the amusement park, and an insightful cultural experience at the folk village.
