Macao 2: Local CAS Program

St. Petersburg Round 2.

St. Petersburg, Russia

Posted March 12, 2014 by Sandra Kuipers

In our final day in St. Petersburg, we had a well-deserved sleep and then went to the Summer Place. Some of the students explored the palace, whereas others explored the grounds and the fountains.  Several people even tried the waters of the Baltic Sea.

We then explored the city. Some explored the Peter and Paul Cathedral.  Others went to jail (voluntarily) and some shopped.  Ms. Pickard and Sarah enjoyed a relaxing time of tea and cakes.

It was then time for our last supper and an overnight train back to Moscow.  It was “all quiet on the western front” as students slept.

Late slips given: 4

Lost items: Camera, memory card, phone and two students.

Quote of the Day: You mean the lady I have been sitting talking to for the last hour is NOT our tour guide?!
