Day three was amazing! Today, we went to Sun Moon Lake and took a boat cruise to explore the lake. We saw Lula island and the thirteen bamboo islands surrounding it. After that fantastic view, we went to an island with a temple on top! The view was even more dazzling than the view from the boat! Then the boat dropped us off at the pier, and we walked to a restaurant with another outstanding view! After lunch, we walked to the cable car station and took two cable car rides to reach Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village! At the amusement park, they put invisible ink stamps on our hands instead of tickets. We had two hours of fun on the rides! The most popular and scariest ride was the Maya Adventure roller coaster! It went really fast and had lots of loops! Daring students went on the ride multiple times! The amusement park crew performed a Taiwanese aboriginal dance. Then we went to our magical modern hotel with an automatic lid lifting toilet and a heated seat. Tonight’s dinner is a western style buffet. After that, we are going to the hotel’s movie theatre to watch Thor 2: The Dark World. Today was a day full of views!
