Day two started out with the pitter patter of rain cascading down the windows. Students were not deterred however, and came out fully prepared for the day ahead. After a nutritious breakfast, students split into their activity groups and took off for the morning. The morning activities included raft building, Chinese painting and bridge building. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain, cableway hike was not a safe option. After an exciting and enriched morning, students came back for a warm lunch and ginger tea to reenergize for the afternoon. The groups rotated activities and came back full of new skills and memories. After a sumptuous dinner, students designed or created special, personal gifts for the elderly who reside in a nearby nursing home. Students were proud of their accomplishments and giving back to the community. After a long, damp day, students retired to their rooms in preparation for another adventurous day to come.
