Hello everyone!
We’ve certainly been very busy the past few days! Sunday was a long day
with travelling here. The ferry and flights all on time. Once we arrived we
had a group dinner at a chinese restaurant, with Mr. Kloss entertainingn
the students at the end of the meall. “kissing the duck”.” By the time we
had our small group meetings, explaining the itinerary and what to pack for
our next day’s adventures, the students were more than ready for bed at
10pm.
Yesterday we split into two groups:
Bus A went kayaking, had a countryside picnic and afterlunch went to visita
local primary school where they were laiden down with their gifts of books,
stationary packs and sports equipment. The students truly enjoyed getting to
know many of the students in grade 5 through conversations, a quiz activity
and some time playing in the yard before it started to rain.
Bus B enjoyed their caving and hot tub experience, including the mud
baths! After lunch, the group went to visit a local family-run noodle
factory and finished up their day learning the art of chineese fan making.
Each student make their own fan which will be fully assembled and presented
to them later this week.
After dinner, both groups joined back togetehr to watch the Impression
