Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Speakout Conference Day 1

Macau, China

Posted April 13, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

Today have us an open morning and the conference didn’t start until
4pm. The girls went on a long walkabout with the Bermuda team and even
did a tour of the Alberta Legislature.
The conference kickoff was great. Supper was roast turkey and even had
perogies!
Education Minister, Jeff Johnson stopped by to say hi the
international students (see pic) before delivering his opening speech.
New York student, Nikhil Goya shared his story for the keynote address
that encouraged students to look outside of the standard norms and to
stand out and make a brand of yourself.
The night ended with the forecast of snow for the morning!
