Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Our last day in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Posted March 15, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

Many of us are sad that it is our last night in Chiang Mai. It has been a fantastic time with friends and a week that we will remember for the years to come.  Here are some comments from the students today:

This is our last day in Chiang Mai, but also the most fun and incredible day throughout the whole week.  As to what I saw, the dancers were very passionate, calmly presented and very well played. Throughout this show, I learned more about Thai culture celebrations. Bono
The barbeque and campfire were amazing because everybody was sitting around the campfire and eating marshmallows and enjoying barbeque food. We ate different types of foods such as: hot dogs, chicken, salad, potatoes, corn, etc.  The marshmallows were yummy, but they were too sticky. Overall I enjoyed the whole dinner. Jasmine

I think the traditional Thai food is very good, and we learned about what Thai people ate in the past

I think biking around the campus is exciting and thrilling. The campus is really large; it is like a maze. I had so much fun biking with my friends.  Rex
I really enjoyed kayaking around the lake. It was very quiet and beautiful. I liked it when we closed our eyes and we could just hear the noises of nature. It  was very fun when I capsized Jenny Choy and May. Capsizing is awesome. It was the BEST!!!  Kenny

I think it was really good that we have so much recreation time so we can just chill out, go biking, swimming, play soccer and basically just taking a rest. I had lot of fun during recreation time with my friends in our room too; we played video games.  It was a fun experience. Romano

Parents, we had an amazing week with your children.  They demonstrated teamwork, cooperation and respect throughout the week…..such wonderful students!  We are so proud of them!

We will see you tomorrow at 5pm at the Macau airport. Thank you.
