Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Tigers Get the Ball Rolling!

Xiamen, China

Posted February 21, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

Hi Tigers Fans!

The SCISAC volleyball tournament is has started up here in Xiamen.  The first day of action saw the Tigers boys start their campaign versus LIS from Chengdu.  The boys played with ferocity, peppering the spirited group from LIS.  The first set saw the boys come out firing with their serves, scoring multiple aces.  The boys rounded out their attack with a daunting offensive display.  The boys ended the set cruising to a comfortable 25-6 win.

The second set saw some of the Tiger’s bench players make key contributions to the match.  The team was once again driven by strong serving.  Ben Kirkman lead a serving streak which expanded the score margin and helped the Tigers assured themselves of a straight set win over LIS (25-6, 25-10)
