Macao 2: Local CAS Program

All Good Things Must Come to an End

Zhaoqing, China

Posted November 15, 2012 by Sandra Kuipers

Sad, but fulfilled students packed their bags and headed down for their final breakfast at the resort.  We said our farewells and boarded the boat to catch the buses that would take us to the Great Race. Upon arriving groups were given a map of Seven Star Park and photos for a scavenger hunt. The park was beautiful featuring large islands, lush natural landscapes and scenery.  For the next 90 minutes, groups walked around the park identifying the objects in the photos and taking a picture. We then returned to the start to see who the most successful teams were.

We then hoped back on the bus to have an an array of Italian delicacies. At the restaurant we were able to celebrate three Birthdays that fell on our trip dates. It was sad to say farewell to the Dragonfly staff as they had been nothing short of spectacular.  It has been a trip of memories, new friendships and self discovery that the students will have for the rest of their lives.
