Macao 2: Local CAS Program

End to a long day

Where: Liyi Holiday Hotel Guilin Yangshuo

Guilin, China

Sorry about the late entry, especially on the first night. We were a little behind schedule and there was not enough time to post an entry before dinner. Everyone is doing well, and we are all safely checked in to our hotel rooms.

After a couple of delays we have successfully arrived in Guilin. Our flight from Guangzhou was delayed for a few hours, but everything else has run smoothly. The students have been great all day, maintaining a positive attitude throughout our lengthy airport stay. – Mr. Findlay

Today my favorite thing that happened was in the airport. Our group learned a new game called ‘Big Meanie.’ The game involves rhythm and is based on a group of people trying to get the Big Meanie out. They must get everyone out until they are able to be the Big Meanie. I got to be the Big Meanie once or twice. It was a fun game to pass the time. The actual airplane ride was really fast, so I was in a good mood for the rest of the day. –Chrsitian Romine (Bus B)
