Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Wat we came for

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Posted March 14, 2012 by Sandra Kuipers

One can’t describe the grandeur of Ankor Wat. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, it keeps going deeper and higher. We were lucky to be one of the last groups to visit the upper level today. It was perfect timing just as the sun was setting.

After that kids tried their hand at bargaining in the night market. Some deals were struck.

After the night market we went for supper at a Cambodian Hot Pot restaurant! For many of the kids it was a welcome comfort from home.

Tomorrow we will visit Tonle Sap lake and a silk farm before heading back across the Thai border.

Have a good night!
