Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Mom, we're not in Macau anymore!

Where: YongPyong Resort Dragon Valley Hotel Pyeongchang

Pyeongchang, Korea Rep.

Posted March 10, 2012 by Sandra Kuipers

Our first day of skiing was a beautiful mix of blue skies and a temperature of -1*C.  It was perfect for skiing as many of our travellers tasted their first bit of snow as they slid down the slopes with open eyes and beaming faces.  While the warm winter weather made for some sticky snow, the runs were well groomed.  Learning how to sit on a moving chair lift, deciding to do a pizza stop or bail out and fall down, and deciding upon which run to ski down were some of the key concepts learned today.  13 students could not get enough of the learning and returned after our dinner to do some NIGHT SKIING!  Well done TIS!
