After a quiet bus ride into Seoul, we made our stop into Seoul’s famous Lotte World- an indoor/outdoor amusement park. It was a sure fire hit with these teens. It was very interesting to see these young people bounce through the doors and “run” to the first ride like excited little children. We all got to return to those childhood days where nothing mattered and the next out-of-breath question was always,” Which ride do we go on next?”
Our trip to the “Center of the Seoul Marketplace Universe”, the Doosan Tower, was a delight. Once released into the market, they shopped and shopped and shopped. I believe the winner for most bags must have been Bowen. But, to their credit when asked what they bought, they proudly talked about this item for Mom or Dad and that item for a little sibling, and this item for a grand-parent. Their thoughtfulness was inspiring and a tribute to the fine young men and women we have here at TIS.
We have a 3:50 wake up call, so we can eat and be at the Incheon Airport for about 6 am! I not sure if many plan to sleep- so be prepared for some teens who may want to crash when they get home just before 11 am Macau time.
