Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Homeward Bound

Somewhere in, China

Posted March 16, 2012 by Sandra Kuipers

After our final day of activities, students had time for a quick shower and we hopped in vans and were taken to the night market.  The kids had a great time exploring the area and bartering with their baht.  They all respected the ‘NO McDonald’s, NO Burger King’ rule and tried some local dishes.  However, one student managed to find a hamburger in a Thai restaurant!  Very enterprising.

The students were asked to do the bulk of their packing yesterday when we returned, so I will be waking them up soon for breakfast and then we will be heading to Chiang Mai to catch our first flight.

We are homeward bound.
