The brilliant sunshine and -4* C temperature betrayed and fooled some of the skiers today. The wind sometimes really whipped through the trees and down some of the runs. Our students quickly realized “It’s colder today!” and had to layer up. The hoodies went up and many toques (that’s Canadian for ‘hat with funny pom-pom on top’) were worn. Looking stylish was not much of a concern over being warm. If the red cheeks and big smiles are an indicator then everyone had a great day.

So much have happened here in Korea! For our meals, we ate traditional meals comprised of kimchi, squid, pork and an assortment of traditional side dishes. Upon our return to the hotel, 13 lucky students, including all of us, got the experience of a lifetime- night skiing! Returned safely to our hotel, all the students are looking forward to tomorrow's Dragon's Peak journey where we will have the option of skiing down the longest run- 5.6km!:D

Hey whaddup! The ski trip is the best trip ever, hands down! Don't you guys wish you were here? A lot of us are skiing and snowboarding, and having a blast 😉 This is a good trip for us grade 12's, as we get to spend time with the greatest friends, having the greatest time, creating the greatest memories. So… yeah. 😀

This trip is truly an experience. I have never spent so much time on my back and my belly before and snowboarding is one of the most challenging physical activity I ever recall trying. All my muscles, knees, elbows are all aching, but that is all part of the fun.

Ski>Scuba, Just kidding, I think that all of the experience week trips are great ways to have fun and learn something while doing it. I never thought that snowboarding would be such a daunting task and even in -7 degrees celsius, I manage to work up a sweat going down a run. It's day two, and I am covered in nothing but sores and bruises. I hope that everyone else is having as great of a time as I am.

Funnest trip ever 🙂 people who aren't here truly are missing out, snow is just amazing as you think it is. Skiing and Snowboarding is challenging but worth it, the wipe outs are half the fun 😀 Have trouble sleeping? You won't in Korea. haha. 🙂 Hi moms and dad. Miss you. 😀 <33

In Korea, the best thing for me was the snowboarding, it was AMAZING !!!!! Lots of pain and injuries, but it's such an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone. Learning to snowboard or ski is not that hard, but trying to do it on a slanted mountain full of snow, now thats tricky.
