Sawadika from Rainy Thailand!
It has been raining all day and will rain again tommorrow. But the rain has not dampened the spirits of our “saving the world” grade 8’s! The students were up early today and busy planting seedlings and learning about plants, nature and sustainable environments.
After some hot chocolate and a hearty lunch to warm us up, we headed to the Doi Suthep temple. We learned about Buddhism and had a chance to take photos of the stunning architecture.
In the evening, we visited the night bazaar and the students proved to be very savvy bargainers, taking home some nice souvenirs for friends and family.
Tommorrow, our plans will be slightly altered due to the continuing rain forecast. We will still go biking, but in the afternoon we’ll swap the kayaking lesson for an indoor art and ceramics activity.
