Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Cooking Class

Chang Mai, Thailand

Posted March 15, 2011 by Sandra Kuipers

Hello!

The students had a wonderful morning at our Thai cooking lesson. We began our day bright and early with a tour of the organic farm where the students saw various plants growing such as garlic, eggplant, spring onions, pandana leaves and many more. After picking our own ingredients off the trees, we headed to the outdoor kitchen where we cooked our own chicken stir fry with mango sticky rice as a dessert. The students diligently followed the expert cooking instructors and whipped up a fabulous meal which everyone enjoyed!

This afternoon, the group will head to the arts and crafts centre to learn the traditional craft of Batik art. Should be great!
