What to Bring
• one set of clothes for cool weather (long sleeves, long pants, warm sweater or jacket)
• Light comfortable sandals or thongs
• Proper hiking shoes or trekking sandals with straps around ankle
• Flip-flops or slippers but not for rafting
• Sports shoes (for trekking, gym time)
• Sports clothes
• PE uniform
• Swim suit (t-shirt to wear with swim suit for modesty and sun protection)
• Towel for pool use
• Small backpack/daypack (for trekking)
• Small, dark towel or a sarong for trekking
• Sun screen
• Insect repellent
• Hat
• Water bottle
• Toiletries
(toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products)
• Personal medication
• Small flashlight
• Spending money (night bazaar, dinner or snacks at airport)
• Book
• Writing materials
• Camera (optional)
• ID card/passport and tickets (these will be collected and stored safely)
• Alarm clock

What not to Bring?
– Anything you’re not willing to lose (ie: PSP, phone, iPod – these items will be the responsibility of the student)
– More than 100 mL of liquid in your carry-on
– Valuable jewellery
Electronics
Students may use personal electronic devices ONLY while in transit and in their rooms at quiet campus time.
Money
Please exchange money to Thai Baht BEFORE the day we depart. Students may need money for snacks or dinner at the airport as well as dinner and souvenirs at the night bazaar.
Attire
While traveling: TIS dress shirt and any TIS bottoms (PE pants or shorts, dress skirts or pants and any comfortable shoes)
While in Thailand: Students may wear their own comfortable clothes which are suitable for our active schedule. Short shorts and tank tops are not permitted for modesty and sun protection reasons. T-shirts and shorts that go from mid-thigh to the knee are appropriate.
