Today was our very first day with the whole TIS group on the boat! We went back to Bungalow Bay in Raja Yai where the Open Water groups were able to practice the skills they learned in the pool. Congrats to Pio, Mr. Lauchlan, and Ms. Ziebart for officially completing their Advanced Open Water course!! Also, we are happy to report that all Open Water students passed their final exam. Everyone had an amazing experience today underwater!
As we had a slightly shorter day today we were fortunate enough to spend some time on the beach before our incredible buffet dinner (including local thai music and dance).
We are looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow as we head back to Paradise aka. Koh Phi Phi. This is what we anticipate for tomorrow’s festivities seeing as it will be our final day of diving. (click on the link!) “Life is much better, down where it’s wetter, under the sea.”
Some students have asked if we can setup a classroom here and continue TIS education from Phuket. Unfortunately, none of the chaperones are well-versed in teaching Math or Science, so the TIS School of the Humanities and Physical Education will commence studies on Monday. Please contact us for further information.**
** Please note: There is no TIS School of the Humanities and Physical Education. Dare to dream.
