Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Dolphins off the Port Bow

Where: Diamond Hill Cottage

Phuket, Thailand

Posted March 11, 2010 by Sandra Kuipers

Another early wake up call and off to the pier with all of our students, this morning we started on our way back to the Phi Phi islands. The sea was angry today, like an old man trying to bring back soup at a deli. All Open Water students have completed their required skills and are officially certified! Congratulations are in order. Today we had three dives and saw turtles, sting rays, ghost pipe fish, little nemo fish (clown fish), and lots of beautiful corals. We were on the boat, or under it, or near it from about 9am to 7:45pm. Lunch and Dinner were served on the boat. As we returned home with the sun set we were joined by a pod of dolphins to bid us fairwell. Thanks Dolphins, we’ll miss you too.

Tomorrow is our last full day here in Phuket. As of now our plans are to shop and hit the beach to gather some last minute rays before heading back to cloudy Macau.

Overall, we are really happy with the students and their commitment to taking their dives seriously, while having a FABULOUS time!!

i like the idea of opening a school there, maybe they could open a casino as well and keep the kids there as long as you like. It looks like all are having a great time while we suffer the cold chills of lustureless macau.ps. there was a fly in my soup! and keep the creative and descriptive stories coming.
