It was now group C’s turn to have a full body workout day.
We took a van ride to Srilanna National Park where students were given sturdy mountain bikes for their 20KM bike ride. I was so impressed with the toughness and adventurous spirit of these kids! Upon finishing the bike ride, all kids were proud of their accomplishments.
After a short rest and meal, we started off on the kayaks to work our shoulders and arms. After some initial instructions, students took to the water and completed a 6 KM kayak ride (with some
water fights along the way).
We then arrived at our final destination for the day which was the Houseboat stay, where students
experienced rural living. They were able to swim, fish, and play group games before bed. If was a wonderfully exciting and rewarding day.
