Macao 2: Local CAS Program

Day1 Group D- Rock Climbing

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Posted March 10, 2010 by Sandra Kuipers

Welcome Back!

On the second day the students woke-up to a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, cereal, and fruit. They were going to need all the energy they could get for the busy day ahead!

They took vans to go rock climbing for the day. Students were led by the guides to experience all aspects of rock climbing such as:

– “Jackie Chan” Climb
– Repelling
– Abseiling
– Basic Rock Climbing
– Cave exploration

Many students overcame their fears and were proud of what they had accomplished.

If you would like to see some pictures of the climing, the Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventure said they would be uploading photos from each day on their Facebook Page.  You can become Facebook friends with them an have a look.

Stay tuned!

PS. We had no internet access the past two days as we were not in internet range. We should be able to make daily updates from now on!
