Roy needed a visa to get into Bangkok even though we were only going to be there to catch a different plane. He and Mr Stribbell went to Hong Kong to find a new flight. They found a flight but found a mistake with his Vietnam visa. After a trip to the Vietnam Embassy, everything was sorted out. Roy arrived in Hanoi just after midnight on Monday night /  Tuesday morning. We will meet up with him when we return to Hanoi from Halong Bay.
