The TIS Touch Rugby team faced off against semi-pro teams in Foshan on Saturday Sept 23 in the City-3 Touch Series tournament. The Tigers were outmatched in terms of experience and age, playing teams that were sometimes 3-4 times our players’ age. But youthful energy and determination drove our Tigers all day long and pushed many semi-pro teams to the limits. Although we didn’t win any games all day, the players’ spirits could not be higher as valuable game experiences were gained and lessons were learnt. With the ACAMIS tournament just around the corner, the Tigers are exactly where they want to be….hungry and ready to devour their next competition.
