Next Thursday to Saturday (January 24th to 26th), TIS will be hosting the ACAMIS Orange Division U19 Basketball Tournament at MUST Gymnasium. This will be the largest athletic event we have ever hosted with 180 athletes and coaches participating from the following schools:
- The International School of Macao
- Harrow International School – Beijing
- Hong Kong Academy
- International School of Tianjin
- International School of Ulaan Bataar
- Nanjing International School
- Shanghai Community International School – Pudong
- Shekou International School
For many of our visitors, this will be their first time to Macao and to TIS. Although this is a basketball tournament, events like this is about much more than just a sporting competition. It is a great opportunity for us to show off our community and what TIS is all about!
An event like this would not be possible without the help of our army of student and teacher volunteers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes and in supporting the logistics of this event. A huge thank you to everyone involved in putting this together!
Let’s show our visitors our amazing TIS hospitality and come and cheer on our boys and girls teams who have just come off a double gold performance last weekend at PRC. Our Tigers are eager to continue their success at this ACAMIS event.
