Tigers Create Waves at ACAMIS Swimming

Posted April 1, 2016 by Jody Hubert

For the first time ever, TIS sent a group of students from Division 2 to an over-night competition. Seven grade 5s and 6s traveled to Suzhou for 3 nights in March to compete in ACAMIS swimming. Joel, Hanna, Mia, Margaux, Monica, Emmi, and Alina all crushed their best times in a jam packed weekend. Over 500 swimmers from around China competed in the two-school meet. Our Tigers competed in more events than they have ever done before – trying out new strokes and longer lengths.

A big shout out goes to the parents who gave up their weekend to cheer on and support our Tigers.
