7 TIS athletes competed in the ACAMIS X-Country race on Saturday October 11. These students did an excellent job at representing TIS both in their ability to perform with strong results and with their positive sportsmanship attitude toward other students. I watched our TIS students stand at the finish line and cheer for every racer that crossed the finish line. They gave out high fives to other schools and did an excellent job of representing the pride of being a TIS Tiger.
Our Grade 6’s and 7’s did extremely well considering that they had to race in the “higher” middle school category against students two or even three years older than them. Here are the results of the races:

Harley – 15th place @ 18:02 mins
