The new morning drop off procedures have been in place for a few weeks now. We’ve had some growing pains, but it gets better each day as everyone becomes familiar with the expectations for parents, drivers, and students. If everyone follows the directions of the TIS staff on duty, the process will be safe and efficient.

Please take the time to read the following guidelines:

– drop off and pick up should only take place in the area marked by yellow lines parallel to the North Wing (see picture)
– drivers need to strictly follow the guidance of the TIS staff on duty
– drive your car all the way into the yellow drop off lane next to the covered sidewalk; do not let your child exit from you car outside the yellow lane
– drive your car as far forward as possible in the yellow drop off lane; this will allow more cars to disembark at once
– your children should exit from the left side of the vehicle only
– please ensure your children are ready to exit the car with bags in hand; when the kids aren’t ready, it slows the process and creates a backlog of vehicles
– drivers should not exit the car (this slows the process and blocks traffic); TIS staff will assist with the younger children
– cars should not park next to the vehicles already in the parking spaces on the north side of the street; this blocks traffic and slows the flow of vehicles
– for obvious safety reasons, parents and children should only cross the street in the designated pedestrian crossing lanes

If everyone exhibits cooperation and patience, the morning drop off process will be done so in a safe and expeditious manner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
新的汽車接送政策早於幾週前實施，雖然仍需改進，但情況每天也有改善，無論是家長、司機還是學生均開始適應安排。相信只要跟隨學校員工指示，成效會更顯著。

請仔細閱讀以下指引：

– 僅於北翼旁之黃色區域停靠車輛（請見圖片）
– 請駕駛者遵循學校人員指示
– 請將車輛駛至黃色區域內方讓孩子下車。切勿讓孩子在黃色區域以外的位置下車
– 請儘管將車輛駛前停靠，以便讓後方車輛進入黃色區域
– 僅讓孩子在左邊車門下車
– 確保孩子在下車前已拿好書包等上學物品，以免造成不必要的車輛阻塞
– 駕駛者切勿離開駕駛座，學校人員會協助年幼學童下車
– 切勿將車輛停在已停靠於黃色區域之車輛旁，以免造成阻塞
– 為保障安全，請家長及孩子使用斑馬線過馬路
