Recently, two TIS students, Dominic Telhado Lobo and Stephane Duvernois, participated in the first-ever South China Student Film Festival (SCSFF). Both of their films made it through to the nomination round with Dominic’s film taking home the Best in Sound award.
SCSFF is a platform for students who are interested in filming making to showcase their talents in video production, lighting, audio, script and editing. The competition is open to students from elementary school to university. Films are categorized into different genres such as drama, horror, comedy, action, etc. The awards were handed out by filmmaking industry professionals.
