TIS recently hosted the Conference for Intellectually Disabled People in Asia on Tuesday, April 18th. Seventy Special Olympics athletes, their coaches and support staff attended the event.
The day began with special speakers sharing their expertise and experiences with our secondary school students. This was followed by a series of workshops in the afternoon, including, mural painting, African drumming, theatre sports, basketball, Cross fit, boxing and many others. All of the activities were designed to endorse a shared learning experience for all.
Thank you to the TIS teachers, students and volunteers who were involved in planning, organising and making this event a huge success!
