It was a day to remember for two grade five students, who had the chance to meet Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
Ronnie and Yoana accompanied Head of School Howard Stribbell to a special wreath laying ceremony this morning at the Sai Wan Cemetery in Hong Kong. The event was held by the Consulate General of Canada to pay tribute to the 228 Canadian soldiers who died during the Battle of Hong Kong in December 1941. Following the ceremony, Mr. Trudeau shook hands with Ronnie and Yoana.
Today is the last day of public events for the Prime Minister, who is closing out an eight-day official visit to China.
