The Second Leg of this year’s Guangdong Dongguan Junior Golf Tour was held at the scenic and challenging Peter Dye course of Guangzhou Foison Golf Club, on two consecutive days, May 11 and 12.

The Dongguan Junior Golf Tour in Guangdong Province is currently one of the domestic tournaments in China sanctioned by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), in which players receive JGS points and are ranked in the JGS listing.

Junior golfers Hope Ning, Brandon Ma and Luke Ning from Macao participated in the two day tournament, enduring intense competition in the scorching heat. These three outstanding junior golfers beat their rival competitors from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and placed in the top three spots in Division A.

Hope Ning from The International School of Macao and Brandon Ma, a former student of TIS, both shot 77 and shared the lead on the first day. Another TIS student, Luke Ning, shot 82 and ranked fifth in the leaderboard.

On the final day of the tournament, Hope played a stable game with two birdies and three bogeys and carded a final round 73 to win by four shots. Brandon Ma shot 77 for the runner-up while Luke rebounded strongly with 74 and took the third.

Congratulations to these outstanding teenagers who are at the top of their game!
