Three students from the TIS golf team got to meet one of the sport’s best players, Ernie Els, over the fall break. Barbie Wang, Oscar Wang and Edward Chai, along with the Grade 4 Teacher Elsa Boonzaaier,  were part of  a welcome party that met Els at the Macau International Airport when he arrived for the Venetian Macau Open. Ms. Elsa and the students created a beautiful welcome sign that included a phrase in Afrikaans, a language spoken in South Africa.  Els and Ms. Elsa both hail from  South Africa.
