The Grade Six students recently studied principles of flight, as well as air and aerodynamics. As a culminating task to demonstrate their knowledge, students participated in an Air Show.
During this event, students competed in groups against each another. Each student was to create paper airplanes that could either travel far, stay aloft, loop, or turn. Individuals were given awards based on performance, as well as team awards for spirit and overall performance.
It was a great display of knowledge through a thoughtful, purposeful inquiry project. Great work Grade Six!
