TIS volunteers were recognized for their invaluable contributions to the school at the annual Volunteer Tea yesterday afternoon in the MPR.

They were served coffee, tea, cupcakes and scones and enjoyed a variety of wonderful performances by the elementary classes. Congratulations to Mr. Gene Capuano who received the Donagh Marr Award for his countless hours of volunteer work at TIS as the U12 soccer coach and for his support at many school events and activities.

Many thanks to the Awards Committee for organizing the Volunteer Tea, the admin team for delivering speeches and helping out with the event, the grade 6 students who did a marvellous job serving the food and assisting with set-up and takedown, the teachers and TA’s who helped to prepare the students for their performances, and the facilities and IT staff for making sure the event ran smoothly.
