Parent volunteers who have helped out in the classroom, on field trips and at TIS community events  were honoured today at the annual Volunteer Tea. Grade 6 students did a great job of serving the volunteers finger sandwiches, cupcakes, coffee and tea. There was also a short program that included some wonderful performances by Ms. Dizon’s PK class, the Grade 4s and Ms. den Oudsten’s Grade 1 class and cheer class.  Tobia Veith received the Donna Marr Community Involvement Award for her contributions as a volunteer over the past 12 years. Thank-you to the members of the Awards Committee for organizing the event.
